Riola Xhemaili (born 5 March 2003) is a Swiss footballer who plays as a midfielder for PSV Eindhoven and the Switzerland national team.[2]
Xhemaili made her debut for the Switzerland national team on 22 September 2020 against Belgium, coming on as a substitute for Ramona Bachmann.[3] [4]
Xhemaili showed her intention of staying at VfL Wolfsburg by prolonging her contract from June 2026 till June 2027 on 8 August 2024. The announcement of the contract extension came together with her decision to spend a developmental year on loan to the Eredivisie club PSV Eindhoven over the course of the 2024–25 season.
