Richard "Rik" Henson, (born 1970) is a British cognitive neuroscientist and academic. He is Professor of Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Cambridge, where he works at the MRC Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit in Cambridge, England. He studies the neural bases of human memory.[1] From 2021 to 2023, he is also President of the British Neuroscience Association.[2]

In 2022, he was elected a Fellow of the British Academy (FBA), the United Kingdom's national academy for the humanities and social sciences.[3]
