Rick and Morty vs. Genocider (stylised RICK AND MORTY VS GENOCIDER) is a Japanese anime short film based on the American television series/franchise Rick and Morty, produced by Sola Entertainment and Telecom Animation Film first aired unannounced on Toonami on July 25, 2020, before being widely release on Adult Swim's YouTube channel on July 26, 2020. Written and directed by Takashi Sano, the film received positive reviews from critics, with its success leading to the production of a second anime short film from Sano, Summer Meets God (Rick Meets Evil), in 2021, and a 10-episode spin-off series, , in 2024.
