Rick Sings Nelson is the nineteenth studio album by Rick Nelson and the Stone Canyon Band.[2] [3] It was the first album on which Nelson wrote every song.[4] [5]

The album debuted on the Billboard Top LPs chart in the issue dated November 17 of that year and remained on the chart for two weeks, peaking at number 196.

Critical reception

The Encyclopedia of Popular Music called the album "accomplished", writing that it was part of "a series of strong, often underrated, albums".

Billboard said the album proves that the albums contains "a package of standout material."[6]
