Richard Edwards (fashion company) explained

Richard Edwards was a fashion design company in operation from 1993 to 2002. It was based in New York City.[1]

It was founded by Richard Bengtsson and Edward Pavlick.[2] They focused on menswear before subsequently launching a women's collection as well.[3] In 2001, Harper's Bazaar reported that their mission was to create "laid-back, luxurious clothes that combine menswear quality with a feminine flourish".

In 1995 they won the Council of Fashion Designers of America's (CFDA) Perry Ellis award for best new menswear.
