Rhododendron fortunei explained

Rhododendron fortunei is a rhododendron species native to China, where it grows at altitudes of 600–.

It is an evergreen shrub[1] that typically reaches heights of 3m–12mm (10feet–39feetm). The plant features leathery leaves that are oblong to oblong-elliptic, measuring in length and in width. Rhododendron fortunei blooms from April to May, producing trusses of 6 - 12 flowers that are campanulate, white to pink, and fragrant.
