Rezqabad (Persian: رزق اباد) is a village in Zorqabad Rural District of Zorqabad District, Esfarayen County, North Khorasan province, Iran, serving as capital of the district.[2] Formerly the capital of the rural district,[3] the capital has been transferred to the village of Ajqan.[2]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,013 in 254 households, when it was in the Central District.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 1,002 people in 262 households.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 664 people in 225 households.[6]

In February 2023, Daman Kuh Rural District and Zorqabad Rural District were separated from the district in the establishment of Zorqabad District.[2]
