Independent councillors Jim Parke (Bellevue), Susan Biggar (Riversdale) and Garry Thompson (Solway) did not seek re-election.[3] [4] Thompson, along with Lisa Hollingsworth (Lynden), resigned from the Liberal Party in 2021.[5] [6]
