Renosterberg Municipality (af|Renosterberg Munisipaliteit; xh|uMasipala wase Renosterberg) is a local municipality within the Pixley ka Seme District Municipality, in the Northern Cape province of South Africa.

See main article: Renosterberg Local Municipality elections. The municipal council consists of nine members elected by mixed-member proportional representation. Five councillors are elected by first-past-the-post voting in five wards, while the remaining four are chosen from party lists so that the total number of party representatives is proportional to the number of votes received. In the election of 1 November 2021 the African National Congress (ANC) won a majority of five seats on the council.[5] [6]

On 26 September 2024 Renosterberg local municipality senior managers are being taken to court over R73.5 million rands of worker's pension funds that were never paid to the administration. The municipality mayor says workers are taking advantage of two pot system that may not be able to be proceeded as the municipality has financial problems.[7]
