Remi Savage (born 26 October 2001) is an English professional footballer who currently plays as a defender for club Inverness Caledonian Thistle.[1]
Born in Liverpool, Savage played youth ball at Liverpool,[2] and made his debut for the U21s side in a 5–2 away loss to Accrington Stanley in the EFL Trophy,[3] and winning the FA Youth Cup, but failing to break into the first team before signing for Newcastle United in July 2021.[4] Savage made his debut for The Toon in a 3–0 away loss to Sheffield Wednesday in the EFL Cup,[5] again failing to break into the first team.
On 25 January 2024, Savage moved to Inverness Caledonian Thistle on a permanent deal,[6] [7] making his debut two days later in a 3–2 away win over league leaders, Raith Rovers[8] before netting his first senior goal in a 3–3 home draw with Partick Thistle.[9]
