Reidville is a village located north east of Deer Lake. A post office was established in 1967 and the first Postmisstress was Dorothy Barrett.
In the 2021 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, Reidville had a population of living in of its total private dwellings, a change of from its 2016 population of . With a land area of 58.28km2, it had a population density of in 2021.[1]
Reidville is home to the Newfoundland Insectarium and Butterfly Pavilion, which opened in 1998.[2]
