Rawhide Buttes Explained

Rawhide Buttes [el. {{convert|5243|ft|abbr=on}}] is a mountain range in Wyoming.

According to tradition, Rawhide Buttes was so named on account of a pioneer being skinned by Native Americans (Indians) there.^[1]
