Ramisha Sattar (born 18 September 1999)[1] is a visual artist and animator best known for her work as creative director for singer-songwriter Chappell Roan.[2] [3] She is also the director of design for astrologer Chani Nicholas's application CHANI.[4]
Sattar was born and raised in rural Nebraska, and her family moved to Dallas, Texas during her sophomore year of high school. She is currently based in Los Angeles.[5]
Sattar graduated from University of Texas at Dallas in 2021 with a Bachelors of the Arts in Arts, Technology, and Emerging Communication.[6] She began working for CHANI in December 2020. In March 2022, she became creative director for Chappell Roan.
Sattar, who Roan calls her "bff", began working with the artist in March 2022. She was the wardrobe assistant for the music video of Roan's single "My Kink is Karma" in May 2022.[7] In September 2022, the two made a joint Twitter account.[8]
In June 2023, she was the creative director for the music video of Roan's single "Red Wine Supernova".[9]
In September 2023, she designed the packaging for the album, “The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess” with Roan. [10]
When Roan toured in 2024, Sattar was the animator for her stage visuals at festivals like Coachella, Lollapalooza, and the Governors Ball Music Festival.[11] Sattar also designed the packaging for the vinyl of Roan's #1 hit single Good Luck, Babe!.[12]
