Raków is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Długołęka, within Wrocław County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1]
It lies approximately 6km (04miles) east of Długołęka, and 18km (11miles) east of the regional capital Wrocław.
The name of the village is of Polish origin and comes from the word rak, which means "crayfish".[2] [3] In 1376, it was mentioned as Rakow.[2]
