List of railway stations in Jamaica explained

All railway stations in Jamaica closed in October 1992 when passenger traffic abruptly ceased.[1] They are here listed by branch and distance from Kingston.[2] In some cases elevation (height above sea level) is also shown.[3] The Jamaica Railway Corporation resumed operating passenger services in July 2011, before ending them again in August 2012 due to financial difficulties.[4] __TOC__

Kingston to Montego Bay main line

See main article: Kingston to Montego Bay railway. There were 22 stations and 17 halts a halt being a flag stop.:[5]

Spanish Town to Ewarton branch line

Bog Walk to Port Antonio branch line

Linstead to New Works branch line

See main article: Linstead to New Works railway. There must have been at least 2 stations on this three mile branch line:[14]

May Pen to Frankfield branch line

See main article: May Pen to Frankfield railway. There were 10 stations and halts on the line c1973.[15] More recent references[9] mention only nine. The line closed in 1974.
