Robert J. May III is an American politician. He is a member of the South Carolina House of Representatives from the 88th District, serving since 2020. He is a member of the Republican party.[1]

In 2021 he was elected as the Vice Chairman of the South Carolina Freedom Caucus.[2]

In August, 2024 his house was searched in conjunction with an investigation into potential Child Sex Abuse Material (CSAM), more commonly referred to as child pornography. The investigation is ongoing, and being conducted by the Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) Special Investigations Unit (HSI) - along with support from the South Carolina State Law Enforcement Division (SLED).[3]
