Różana is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Stoszowice, within Ząbkowice Śląskie County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 6km (04miles) north-west of Stoszowice, 110NaN0 north-west of Ząbkowice Śląskie, and 610NaN0 south-west of the regional capital Wrocław.
After the Seocnd World War, Polish rule was estanlished over Silesia. Local Germans, unaware of the political decisions until then, were evicted starting from February 1946. On Palm Sunday 1946, it was Rosenbach'S turn for eviction. Polish militia surrounded the village in the morning, and in the afternoon, Germans had 20 minutes to prepare for exulsion. This event was followed by severl further rounds of eviction. [2]
