Quercus chenii explained
Quercus chenii is a species of oak native to southeast China.[1] It is in subgenus Cerris, section Cerris.[2] A tree reaching 30m (100feet) in height, it grows from sea level to about 600m (2,000feet) in elevation, and can form pure stands.[3] Some authorities feel that it could be a synonym of Quercus acutissima.[4]
