Qaqazan-e Sharqi Rural District (Persian: دهستان قاقازان شرقي) is in the Central District of Takestan County, Qazvin province, Iran.[2] Its capital is the village of Yahyaabad.[3]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 12,890 in 2,930 households.[4] There were 12,294 inhabitants in 3,463 households at the following census of 2011.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 12,887 in 3,878 households. The most populous of its 21 villages was Yahyaabad, with 3,060 people.[6]
