Pyrenomonas Explained
Pyrenomonas is a genus of cryptomonad.[1]
Pyrenomonas salina, the type species, was characterized in 1984[2] but has since been renamed to Rhodomonas salina.[3] Therefore, making the genus Pyrenomonas a synonym of Rhodomonas.
