Przewodów Explained

Przewodów is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Dołhobyczów, within Hrubieszów County, Lublin Voivodeship, in southeastern Poland, close to the border with Ukraine.^[2] It lies approximately 15km (09miles) southwest of Dołhobyczów, 390NaN0 south of Hrubieszów, and 1290NaN0 southeast of the capital of the Voivodeship, Lublin. It is also about 1200NaN0 north of Lviv in Ukraine. The village is located in the historical region of Galicia.^[3]

History

See main article: 2022 missile explosion in Poland. On the evening of 15 November 2022, the village was hit by a stray missile^[4] of Ukrainian origin as a result of the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine, killing two people.^[5] ^[6] ^[7]
