Proviverra Explained
Proviverra ("before civet") is an extinct genus of placental mammals from extinct family Proviverridae within extinct superfamily Hyaenodontoidea (in extinct order Hyaenodonta), that lived during the Middle Eocene in Europe.[1] [2] [3]
