Prince Mohammed bin Salman Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Qiddiya, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It is set to be a venue for the 2034 FIFA World Cup, where it will host fixtures in the group stage, round of 32, round of 16, and the 3rd place playoff.[1] The stadium has a capacity of 45,000 people and is named after current Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.[2] [3]

Description

Construction on the stadium will begin in 2026. Its opening will take place in 2029, when it will be used by Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr of the Saudi Pro League.[4]

The stadium will be atop the Tuwaiq Cliffs. It will feature a retractable roof and the stadium will be climate controlled.
