The STOL King features a strut-braced high-wing, a two-seats-in-tandem enclosed cockpit that is 32.50NaN0 wide, fixed conventional landing gear and a single engine in tractor configuration.[1] [2] [3]
The aircraft fuselage is made from welded steel tubing, with the wings of aluminum structure, with its flying surfaces covered in doped aircraft fabric. Its 31.51NaN1 span wing has an area of 158.2square feet and is fitted with flaps and leading edge slots. The wing is supported by "V"-struts and jury struts and can be folded for ground transportation or storage. Acceptable installed power is 75to. Engines used include the 750NaN0 Volkswagen air-cooled engine, the 108to Lycoming O-235 and the 1500NaN0 Lycoming O-320 four-stroke powerplants.[1] [2] [3]
