After Sam was taken to Atlanta, Georgia by her father due to getting in trouble with the law in Los Angeles, she is forced to join the Praise Team as punishment for getting caught lying as going to her Aunt and Uncle. She improves the church singing team and even helps them win the regionals. She starts enjoying the stay with her cousin(who is very bubbly) and starts having a crush on Ty.
