Poverty Alleviating Party Explained
The Poverty Alleviating Party was a political party in the Maldives. It was registered with the Election Commission on 5 September 2008.[1] The party changed its name to the Maldivian Labor Party, according to the Election Commission.[2] The party's vice president was Ahmed Saleem, who was an independent member of parliament for Baa Atoll, Eydhafushi, now he's a member of the Progressive Party of Maldives.[3]
The party was dissolved in 2013.
