Pounamuella hauroko is a species of Orsolobidae. The species is endemic to New Zealand.[1]
This species was described in 1985 by Ray Forster and Norman Platnick from male and female specimens collected in Southland. The holotype is stored in Otago Museum.
The male is recorded at 1.76mm in length whereas the female is 2.04mm.
This species is only known from Southland, New Zealand.
Under the New Zealand Threat Classification System, this species is listed as "Data Deficient" with the qualifiers "Data Poor: Size", "Data Poor: Trend" and "One Location".[2]
