Poręba Wielka is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Niedźwiedź, within Limanowa County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in southern Poland. It lies approximately 8km (05miles) west of Niedźwiedź, 290NaN0 west of Limanowa, and 510NaN0 south of the regional capital Kraków.[1]
The village is the cite of the Gorce National Park. Polish writer Władysław Orkan was born here.
