Pontécoulant Explained
Pontécoulant (in French pronounced as /pɔ̃tekulɑ̃/) is a commune in the Calvados department in the Normandy region in northwestern France.
Geography
The commune is part of the area known as Suisse Normande.[2]
The commune is made up of the following collection of villages and hamlets, Launay and Pontécoulant.[3]
The communes single watercourse is the River, La Druance.
The commune is completely enclosed within the commune of Condé-en-Normandie.[3]

National heritage sites
- Château à Pontécoulant is a seventeenth century Chateau that is open to the public to visit, after its owners in 1908 left it to the department.[4] The chateau was listed as a Monument historique in 1927.[5]
