Polyscias spectabilis explained

Polyscias spectabilis (formerly Gastonia spectabilis) is a canopy level, or lower emergent rainforest tree of New Guinea and belongs to the Ivy or Gensing Family (Araliaceae).[1] Each branch blooms once with a terminal inflorescence, but then forms two widely spreading branches just beneath the inflorescence which together resemble the letter "U", giving the tree a unique appearance.[2]
