Smallanthus fruticosus explained

Smallanthus fruticosus is a species of shrub in the family Asteraceae. It is native to the Andes (from Colombia to Bolivia).[1]

S. fruticosus contains the cytotoxic flavone centaureidin[2] and the flavanone sakuranetin.[3]
