Polonium tetrabromide, is a bromide of polonium, with the chemical formula PoBr4.
Polonium tetrabromide can be formed by the direct reaction of bromine and polonium at 200 °C to 250 °C.[1]
Like polonium tetraiodide, polonium tetrabromide can also be produced by the reaction of polonium dioxide and hydrogen bromide:
Polonium tetrabromide is a light red solid that is easily deliquescent. It crystallizes in the cubic crystal system, with space group Fm3m (No. 225) and lattice parameter a = 5.6 Å.[2]
