Police (in Czech pronounced as /ˈpolɪtsɛ/; German: Pollaitz) is a municipality and village in Šumperk District in the Olomouc Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 200 inhabitants.

Police is approximately 16km (10miles) south of Šumperk, 32km (20miles) north-west of Olomouc, and 187km (116miles) east of Prague.

History

The first written mention of Police is from 1312.[2]
