The Pokhara Cricket Ground, Commonly known as Pokhara International Cricket Ground (Nepali: पाेखरा क्रिकेट मैदान) is a cricket ground in Pokhara, Gandaki, Nepal.[1] [2]
The stadium is the home ground of Gandaki Province cricket team, Nepal national women's cricket team and headquarter of Gandaki Province Cricket Association, the governing body of cricket in Gandaki Province.
The ground served as the home ground for the Gandaki Province cricket team for PM Cup matches and other domestic matches.
Often regarded as this ground is one of the best picturesque cricketing venue in the world.[3]
To Upgrade and beautify the Stadium Gandaki provincial government allocated Rs. 10 Million and Rs.20 by federal government, Rs. 30 Million in stake. But due to lack of coordination between two level government the allocated budget left unspent. Which is one of the main reason of the slow progress of the construction of this Ground.[4]
Two WT20I centuries have been scored at the venue.[5]
