Pointel (in French pronounced as /pwɛ̃tɛl/) is a commune in the Orne department in north-western France.

Geography

The commune is made up of the following collection of villages and hamlets, Le Bois de Pointel, Le Chênay, Pointel, L'Anglêcherie, Le Bois Jean and La Bourdonnière.[2]

It is 750ha in size. The highest point in the commune is 210m (690feet).

The commune has seven watercourses running through it, the rivers Rouvre and the Val du Breuil, plus five streams. The five streams are known as the Roussieres, the Arthan, the Vaux, the Lange and la Source Philippe.
