Pogonomyrmex subnitidus explained

Pogonomyrmex subnitidus is a species of harvester ant in the subfamily Myrmicinae native to California, Baja California, Nevada, Utah, and possibly Arizona, Oklahoma, Nuevo Leon, and New Hampshire.^[1]
