Pogonishte is a folk dance from Pogon in southern Albania. It is related to the Greek dance Pogonisios (Greek, Modern (1453-);: Πωγωνίσιος|link=no) or Sta Dyo (Greek, Modern (1453-);: Στα Δύο|link=no). The time signature is in, and it is danced in an open circle; dancers bounce twice gently on every count.[1]
