Planaltoa Explained

Planaltoa is a genus of flowering plants in the tribe Eupatorieae within the family Asteraceae.[1] [2] [3]

The generic name Planaltoa refers to the Planalto Central (Brazilian Highlands) in southern, central, and eastern Brazil.[2]
