Pirinia Explained
Pirinia is a monotypic genus of flowering plants belonging to the family Caryophyllaceae. The only species is Pirinia koenigii.[1]
It is a perennial endemic to the Pirin mountain range of southwestern Bulgaria.[2] [3]
