Piltene Parish District Explained

The Piltene Parish District (lv|Piltenes draudzes novads, de|Kirchspiel Pilten) was an administrative unit in the Piltene District, and after 1818, it became part of the Ventspils apriņķis of the Courland Governorate.^[1]

Nowadays, the territory of the Piltene Parish District is part of Ventspils Municipality.
