Piekoszów is a town in Kielce County, Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, in south-central Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Piekoszów. It lies approximately 110NaN0 west of the regional capital Kielce.[1]

History

Piekoszów was the former seat of the Odrowąż family.[2] In 1366, Piotr Odrowąż founded a parish church in Piekoszów.[2] It was administratively located in the Sandomierz Voivodeship in the Lesser Poland Province of the Kingdom of Poland.
