Phrontis karinae explained

Phrontis karinae is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Nassariidae, the Nassa mud snails or dog whelks.[1]

Description

The length of the shell varies between 5 mm and 10 mm.

Distribution

This species occurs in the Gulf of Mexico, the Caribbean Sea, the Lesser Antilles and the Greater Antilles; in the Atlantic Ocean off Brazil.
