Petats is an Austronesian language spoken by a few thousand persons in Papua New Guinea.[1] Dialects are Hitau-Pororan, Matsungan, and Sumoun.
Verbal inflection is accomplished through post verbal pronominal particles which carry tense and mood marking.[2]
