Perevozsky District (Russian: Перево́зский райо́н) is an administrative district (raion), one of the forty in Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, Russia.[1] Municipally, it is incorporated as Perevozsky Municipal District.[2] It is located in the southern central part of the oblast. The area of the district is 769.2km2. Its administrative center is the town of Perevoz. Population: 16,519 (2010 Census); The population of Perevoz accounts for 55.7% of the district's total population.
The district was established in 1935.
