Perevolotsky District (Russian: Переволоцкий райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[2] district (raion), one of the thirty-five in Orenburg Oblast, Russia. It is located in the center of the oblast. The area of the district is 2742km2.[3] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a settlement) of Perevolotsky. Population: 28,345 (2010 Census); The population of the administrative center accounts for 33.9% of the total district's population.
