Pelcis Explained

Pelcis or Pelkis (Greek, Ancient (to 1453);: Πελκις) was a town of ancient Crete.[1] It is mentioned in a theorodokoi decree dated to .[2]

Its site is tentatively located near modern Kontokynigi.
