Parsian IF is a Swedish football club located in Upplands Väsby, Stockholm that plays in the Swedish Division 4.[1] The club represents the Iranian community in Sweden.
Parsian IF, a sports club with Swedish-Iranian roots, was established in 2013 by the visionary brothers Shahram and Shahin Shabani. The club's primary emphasis initially centered around its football section, with its activities primarily based in Kista, Stockholm, until the conclusion of the 2018 season. A significant turning point occurred when the longstanding Väsby IK ceased operations during the same season. Parsian IF, seizing the opportunity, assumed control of the facilities and relocated its entire operation to Upplands Väsby, Stockholm. Subsequently, the club underwent a transformation and adopted the name Parsian Väsby IF.
In January 2023, the club made the decision to return to its original name, Parsian IF. The club's home matches take place at Vilundavallen in Upplands Väsby.
Parsian IF are affiliated to Stockholms Fotbollförbund.
In October 2017 Parsian IF finished first place in their Division 6 group and were promoted to Division 5. During the 2023 season, Parsian IF continues to compete in Division 5. On matchday 20, Parsian managed to secure promotion to Division 4 and became the first Swedish-Iranian team to do so after winning 4–0 at home and also clinched the first place in their series.
