Palace of Desire (Arabic: قصر الشوق|Qaṣr ash-Shūq) is a novel by Egyptian writer Naguib Mahfouz, and the second installment of Mahfouz's Cairo Trilogy.[1] It was originally published in Arabic in 1957.
