Pagon is a character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist David Finch, the character first appeared in The New Avengers #1 (December 2004).[1] Pagon belongs to the fictional extraterrestrial species called the Skrull.[2] He has adopted the codename of Elektra during the Skrull invasion of Earth.[3]
Pagon debuted as a cameo in The New Avengers #1 (December 2004), created by Brian Michael Bendis and David Finch. He appeared with a full appearance in New X-Men vol. 2 #13 (May 2005).
Pagon was a War-Skrull and a lover of Veranke. Pagon utilized the powers of Invisible Woman, Colossus and the Thing to blindside and severely beat Elektra who he impersonated (due to Siri's death).[4] His infiltration as the leader of the Hand and Hydra resulted in arranging the Raft's breakout,[5] and harassing the X-Men.[6] Pagon kills, resurrects and imprisons Maya Lopez to use as a weapon before the New Avengers rescue his victim who stabs the Skrull to death.[7] Pagon's death was a planned major "reveal" of Veranke's conspiracy towards Earth.[8] An autopsy on Pagon's body was done by Iron Man and Reed Richards.[9]
Pagon possesses the ability to physically transform himself like other Skrulls.[10]
