Pachypus caesus explained

Pachypus caesus is a species of dung beetle in the family Scarabaeidae.[1]

Description

Pachypus caesus can reach a length of 17-. In the typical form the prothorax of the males is blackish, while elytrae are completely black. The females are reddish and apterous.[2]

Distribution

This species is endemic to Sicily.[3]
